Some things to look out for when booking live entertainment:

Always listen to the band before booking, a reputable agency will always have some audio clips that you can hear. Try to listen to live clips rather than studio recordings, its amazing how good a bad band can sound in a top recording studio! Always have a look at some photos of the band playing live, again, a professional photographer can make a band look great in a professional studio.

Ensure the agency has a good contract in place when booking. The main things to look out for are cancellation policy (i.e. how much of the fee do the agents keep if you cancel the booking) and policies for cancellation on the part of the agency (i.e. will the supply an alternative act in case of illness). Speak will someone from the entertainment agency about these before making your booking.

Citing the ‘Sister’ groups of the 1930’s/40’s such as the Andrews Sisters and The Boswell Sisters, as their initial inspiration, The Puppini’s have gone on to develop their own unique style of vocal-harmony based music.

The Hannah Northedge Jazz Band - Hannah is a sultry songstress of old fashioned glamour and band leader of her own ensembles.
